Refund policy

Try it first, then buy. Wildlife Engine has a free trial with every feature (500 photos or 10 days), so you can be sure it works for you and your photos before you pay. Because of that, purchases are final once your licence key has been sent, except in the cases below.

When we refund

AI suggestions are not 100% correct

Wildlife Engine uses AI to rate photos, pick the best of each burst, sort categories and name species. AI is never 100% correct: some photos will get the wrong stars, land in Selects or Rejects when you'd disagree, or get a wrong species name, especially for look-alike species, distant or hidden animals, or unusual light. You can correct any of them in the app. Because the free trial lets you see how accurate it is on your own photos before buying, some wrong ratings or names are not a reason for a refund (see section 6 of the terms). A refund for "it doesn't work" means the app can't install, start or analyse your photos.

How to ask

Email [email protected] with the email address you bought with, or reply to your receipt, and tell us what went wrong. Refunds are paid by Paddle to the card or account you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 working days.

Yearly plan

You can cancel the yearly plan at any time from the link in your receipt, so it doesn't renew. Pro keeps working until the end of the year you paid for. Renewals are not refunded unless one of the cases above applies.

After a refund

The licence key is cancelled and must no longer be used. Your photos, ratings, names and folders are not affected.

Pro bought in the Android app

That purchase is made through Google Play, so Google Play's refund rules apply. You can ask for a refund in Google Play, or email us and we'll help.
